Things to See and Do in Kojonup
Check out this list of things to see and do in Kojonup, the jewel of Western Australia's south west.
The Kodja Place
The highlight of a visit to Kojonup is the Kodja Place. The centre immortalises the farm experience, life on "the reserve", the heartfelt stories of early settlers, the aspirations of the young and the community hopes for the future. Sit on the school bus, drive the farm ute, walk the boards on the snazziest shearing shed you will ever see - you can even check the rain gauge and the farm budget.
Billy Tea & Damper is available for group bookings.
The Kodja Place is open from 9.00 am and the last entry is at 3.30 pm, seven days a week, closed Christmas Day.

The Rose Maze at The Kodja Place is an iconic feature of Kojonup. Rose-hedged pathways and garden structures provide an enchanting setting for the stories of three symbolic women, Yoondi, Elizabeth and Maria. The life Journeys of these Noongar, English and Italian storytellers unfold through the Maze's twentieth-century timeline.
Kokoda Track Memorial
The life size statue located in the Kojonup Apex park, features Brigadier A.W Potts in an active pose wearing summer uniform. His day pack lies on the base of the boulder beside him. Bronze plaques can be found on the bridge alongside the Potts' statue.

Centenary of Federation Wool Wagon
A joint project of Rotary, Apex and Lions, the Centenary of Federation Wool Wagon was officially opened on Australia Day 2001. The wool wagon sits in the town centre on the Albany Highway.
Local Pubs
Enjoy a cold beer at the bar of the Commercial Hotel, Western Australia's oldest continually licensed hotel. Then travel up the hill to the Royal Hotel, built in 1887 and still sporting its 1880s colonial style frontage.
Sport and Recreation
Challenge your friends to a game of golf or tennis at the combined Kojonup Golf Course and Tennis Club. Or get some exercise on the squash courts, turf ovals or bowling greens at the Kojonup Recreation Complex, or lap the Olympic sized swimming pool. Swim, waterski and camp the night at Lake Towerinning (Moodiarrup Lake), an ancient meteor crater filled with fresh, clear water.
The swimming pool is only open for the summer season. For more information on any of these activities, please contact the Kojonup Visitor Centre.
